Marilyn Smith

Retired as an Assoc. Professor of Chemistry at McDaniel College in May of 2018, where she taught taught for 20 years, Marilyn has now turned her talents to fiber arts design.  After over 40 years of sewing experience, six years ago she added quilting to her repertoire.  Currently she uniquely designs and makes table runners, placemats, wall hangings, appliqued pillows, and tote bags.  Her table runners and placemats, which often include embroidered designs, are finished with a hand-hemmed, French-fold binding.  She also welcomes requests for specialty designs.
